Sarah Waring is author of Farming for the Landless, Platin Press, 2015, a cultural investigation of changing perceptions regarding cultivation, adaptation and conservation. The book is also available in Italian, having just been released as Agricoltura per senza terra, Pentàgora Edizioni, 2018.
Waring’s writing is informed by her background in the visual arts. She studied photography at the Royal College of Art and lectured at the University of Westminster and the University of the Arts London. She now lives and works both in the UK and Italy, and is currently working on Stray, a collaborative project exploring site and story with artists Georg Frauenschuh, Gerlind Zeilner and Caroline Woodley.
