Giusi Diana is an art historian and journalist. She studied in Palermo and Siena. She is also an independent curator, and the author of various monographs and catalogues, with a special focus on the young independent scene in Italy, and on sound art, public art, and relational art projects.
She has collaborated with several public and private institutions, such as Museo Bilotti Aranciera di Villa Borghese, Riso Museo d’Arte Contemporanea della Sicilia, Museo Archeologico A. Salinas, Parco Archeologico della Valle dei Templi di Agrigento, Fondazione Orestiadi di Gibellina, Fondazione Fiumara d’Arte, Fam Fabbriche Chiaramontane.
She is the Sicily correspondent and a guest editor for Il Giornale dell’Arte (Torino), and a contributor to The Art Newspaper (London), Le Journal des Arts (Paris), and Arte Mondadori, Cairo Editore (Milan).
She taught New Media and Contemporary Art History, and was a speaker at various workshops and conferences on electronic arts, art & design, art and political activism, cultural journalism, and contemporary photography at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Parlmo and Catania, and at the Università degli Studi di Palermo.
