Enrico Falbo was born on 20th June 1981. After playing in several rock bands, he began studying viola. His musical signature is the mixing of Indian string instruments (esraj, dilruba) and electronic music, field recording, effects and loops. His influences include drone music, kraut rock, kosmische musik, ancestral sounds and the sounds of ecstatic rituals. His second album, “Tranceformer”, a live rercording of a personal “trance ritual”, has recently been released by the US label Vulpiano Records and is available in digital format and on cassette tape (in a limited run of 100). In 2010 he released “Canti Silvani”, his first Lp as a multi-instrumentalist. His music was featured in dance choreographies, video art works, artistic installation and photography exhibitions.
